Build and mix
Fill a highball or Collins glass with ice (about 1 cup). Pour in 2 oz Frey Ranch Bourbon, 1/2 oz Combier, and 1/2 oz fresh lime juice directly over the ice.
Add bitters
Add 2 dashes of Angostura bitters into the glass to round and deepen the aromatics.
Top with ginger beer
Top the mixture with about 4 oz chilled ginger beer. Gently stir once or twice with a bar spoon to combine — avoid vigorous stirring to keep carbonation.
Garnish and serve
Garnish with a lime wedge or wheel on the rim. Optionally add a piece of candied ginger or a thin fresh ginger slice on a skewer. Serve immediately.
