Method
Prepare Glass
Chill glass (optional)
If desired, chill a copper mule mug or a highball glass in the freezer for 5–10 minutes prior to assembling the cocktail.
Build Cocktail
Measure and pour 2 oz Pickers Vodka over the ice.
Add 0.5 oz fresh lime juice (about half a lime). For a brighter lime character, squeeze the lime wedge directly into the drink and drop the wedge in.
Top with 4 oz ginger beer. Pour gently to preserve carbonation and avoid overflow; stir once lightly with a bar spoon to combine (about 3–4 gentle stirs).
Garnish & Serve
Garnish with a lime wedge on the rim. Optionally add a fresh mint sprig or a piece of candied or fresh ginger on a pick for aroma.
Serve immediately while fizzy. Recommend providing a straw or small spoon and advise the drinker to give it a light stir before sipping if it has sat.
