Brew a shot of espresso and set aside to cool slightly.

In a cocktail shaker, add the Licor 43 and the brewed espresso.

Fill the shaker with ice, cover, and shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds.

Strain the mixture into a glass filled with ice.
