Prepare fresh juices
Cut a small chunk of seedless watermelon and a navel or Valencia orange. Pulse the watermelon in a blender and strain through a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth to yield about 1 oz of watermelon juice. Juice the orange to obtain about 0.5 oz (approximately 1 small wedge worth) and squeeze 0.25 oz fresh lime juice.
Build and shake
In a cocktail shaker, combine 1.5 oz Hendrick's Gin, 0.5 oz Aperol, 1 oz fresh watermelon juice, 0.5 oz fresh orange juice, 0.25 oz fresh lime juice and 0.25 oz simple syrup. Add a generous handful of ice (about 1 cup) to the shaker. Secure the lid and shake vigorously for 10–12 seconds until well chilled and slightly diluted.
Strain and top
Fill a highball or large Collins glass with fresh ice. Double-strain the shaken mixture into the glass to remove small solids and chips of ice. Top gently with 4 oz Red Bull Peach Edition (White Peach), pouring slowly to retain some effervescence. Give the drink one short gentle stir (1–2 turns) to marry the components without flattening the can's fizz.
Garnish and serve
Garnish with a thin watermelon wedge or a curled watermelon ribbon on the rim and an orange wheel on the side. Optionally express a small orange peel over the drink to release oils before dropping it in. Serve immediately with a straw.
Notes
This recipe yields one cocktail (~270 calories). Adjust simple syrup to taste if your watermelon is very sweet. For a slightly stronger grapefruit-tinged profile, increase Aperol by 0.25 oz and reduce simple syrup accordingly.
