Cocktail
Prepare the glass
Run a lime wedge around the rim of a chilled rocks or coupe glass. Pour the salt onto a small plate, then dip the moistened rim into the salt to coat. Set the glass aside.
Combine ingredients
In a cocktail shaker add the Lunazul Blanco tequila (2 oz), fresh lime juice (0.75 oz), Cointreau (0.5 oz), agave syrup (0.25 oz), blue curaçao (0.25 oz, optional for a pale blue tint), and 2 dashes of orange bitters.
Add ice and shake
Fill the shaker with ice (about 1 cup) and shake vigorously for 12–15 seconds, until the shaker is well-chilled and the outside is frosty.
Strain
Double-strain the cocktail into the prepared glass over fresh ice (if using a rocks glass) or without ice (if using a coupe) using a Hawthorne and fine mesh strainer to remove shards of ice and any pulp.
Garnish and serve
Garnish with a lime wheel or wedge on the rim. Serve immediately.
