Build and shake
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add 2 oz Jameson Irish Whiskey, 0.75 oz freshly squeezed lemon juice, and 0.5 oz simple syrup. Secure the lid and shake vigorously for about 10–12 seconds, until the outside of the shaker is well chilled.
Strain
Fill a rocks glass (or highball if you prefer the soda option) with fresh ice. Strain the cocktail from the shaker into the prepared glass.
Serve immediately while cold.
