Base Layer Preparation

1. Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) so it is ready for baking.

2. Mix Dry Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt until well combined.

3. Mix Wet Ingredients

In another bowl, combine the milk, vegetable oil, vanilla extract, and eggs. Whisk until smooth.

4. Combine Mixtures

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir with a spatula until just combined. Do not overmix.

5. Pour into Pan

Grease a 9x13 inch baking pan and pour the batter evenly into the pan.

6. Bake

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

7. Cool

Remove the pan from the oven and let it cool completely before frosting.

Frosting Preparation

8. Beat Butter

In a medium bowl, beat the unsalted butter with an electric mixer until creamy and smooth.

9. Add Sugar and Cream

Gradually add the powdered sugar and heavy cream while continuing to beat until the frosting is light and fluffy.

10. Add Vanilla

Mix in the vanilla extract until fully incorporated.

Decoration

11. Frost the Cake

Once the cake is completely cool, spread the frosting evenly over the top using a spatula.

12. Add Sprinkles

Sprinkle your choice of sprinkles on top of the frosting for decoration.
