Method
Dough & base
preheat and prepare dough
Preheat oven to 500°F (260°C). If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven while preheating. Lightly dust a pizza peel or baking sheet with the all-purpose flour. Stretch or roll the pizza dough into a 12-inch round on a lightly floured surface to about 1/4-inch thickness. Transfer stretched dough to the prepared peel or baking sheet.
Brush the surface of the dough lightly with 1 tablespoon olive oil, leaving a 1/2-inch border for the crust. If you want marinara, spread 1 cup warmed marinara sauce over the dough in an even layer, leaving the same border. If you prefer no marinara, skip the sauce and proceed with oil only.
Cheese & toppings
add cheese
Evenly sprinkle 2 cups shredded mozzarella over the sauce or oiled surface, covering nearly to the crust edge but not overflowing.
arrange ham, bacon, and pineapple
Distribute 6 oz cooked ham across the pizza in even pieces. Scatter 4 oz chopped cooked bacon over the top. Arrange 1 cup drained pineapple chunks in a balanced pattern so every slice will have pineapple. If using, sprinkle 2 tablespoons grated parmesan lightly over everything.
Season the toppings with 1 teaspoon dried oregano, 1 teaspoon black pepper, 1/2 teaspoon coarse salt, and 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust heat to taste).
Baking & finishing
bake
Slide the pizza onto the preheated pizza stone or place the baking sheet in the oven. Bake at 500°F (260°C) for 8–12 minutes, rotating once halfway through, until the crust is golden and cheese is melted and bubbling with small browned spots. Baking time will vary with oven and stone; watch closely after 8 minutes.
rest and finish
Remove the pizza from the oven and let it rest on a cutting board for 2–3 minutes. Tear and scatter fresh basil leaves over the pizza if using. Optionally drizzle a tiny bit of olive oil or sprinkle extra red pepper flakes. Slice into 8 slices and serve immediately.
