Burger Preparation

1

Prepare the Burger Patties

In a bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, and black pepper. Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape them into patties.

2

Cook the Burgers

Heat a skillet or grill over medium-high heat. Add a bit of olive oil. Cook the patties for about 3-4 minutes on one side, then flip and place a slice of smoked gouda on top. Cook for another 3-4 minutes until the cheese is melted and the patties reach your desired doneness.

3

Toast the Buns

While the burgers are cooking, slice the brioche buns in half and toast them in the skillet or on the grill until golden brown.

4

Assemble the Burgers

Spread bacon jam on the bottom half of each toasted bun. Place the cooked burger patty on top, followed by cured cucumber slices and sliced Fresno chilies. Top with the other half of the bun.

5

Prepare Garlic Wedges

Cut potatoes into wedges. In a bowl, toss with minced garlic, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Spread on a baking sheet and bake at 400°F (200°C) for 25-30 minutes until crispy and golden.
