Stromboli Preparation Instructions

1

Prepare the Dough

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface into a rectangle about 1/4 inch thick.

2

Add Fillings

Spread the mozzarella cheese evenly over the dough, leaving a 1-inch border around the edges. Layer the pepperoni, diced bell pepper, and onion on top of the cheese. Sprinkle the Italian seasoning and garlic powder evenly over the filling.

3

Roll the Dough

Starting from one long side, carefully roll the dough away from you, keeping the filling tightly packed inside. Pinch the seams and ends to seal the Stromboli.

4

Prepare for Baking

Place the rolled Stromboli seam side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush the top with beaten egg and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese.

5

Bake

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing.
