Fried shrimp, spicy cream sauce.
In a large bowl, mix flour, cornstarch, cayenne pepper, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. In another bowl, pour buttermilk. Dip each shrimp first in buttermilk, then coat with the flour mixture. Set aside.
In a large pot or deep skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).
Carefully add the coated shrimp to the hot oil in batches. Fry for about 2-3 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
In a separate bowl, combine mayonnaise, sriracha sauce, and lime juice. Mix well until smooth.
Arrange the fried shrimp on a serving platter. Drizzle the spicy cream sauce over the top or serve on the side. Garnish with chopped green onions.
