Tuna Tartare Ingredients

Method

Preparation Directions

1

Prepare the Tuna Tartare

In a bowl, combine diced sushi-grade tuna, soy sauce, sesame oil, lime juice, salt, and pepper. Mix gently and set aside.

2

Prepare the Avocado

Cut the ripe avocado in half, remove the pit, and scoop out the flesh. Dice the avocado and season with a pinch of salt and lime juice.

3

Prepare the Cucumber

Peel the cucumber and cut it into thin slices or small cubes. Set aside.

4

Make the Cilantro Crema

In a blender, combine cilantro and sour cream. Blend until smooth. Adjust seasoning with salt if needed.

5

Fry the Wontons

In a deep frying pan, heat oil over medium-high heat. Fry the wonton wrappers until golden brown and crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.

6

Assemble the Dish

On a plate, create a layer of tuna tartare, top with avocado and cucumber. Drizzle with cilantro crema. Serve with fried wontons on the side.
