Method

Chill & prepare

1

Chill bottle

Ensure the 500 ml Perrier bottle has been refrigerated for at least 1–2 hours prior to serving so it is well chilled. Sparkling water is best enjoyed cold to preserve carbonation and refreshment.

2

Chill glass (optional)

If using a glass, place it in the fridge or freezer for 10–15 minutes before serving to keep the drink colder longer. If you prefer not to chill the glass, proceed without this step.

Open & pour

3

Open carefully

Hold the chilled 500 ml Perrier bottle upright. Twist the cap counterclockwise to open. Open gently to control pressure and avoid excessive fizzing; a slow steady twist is recommended.

4

Pour

Pour Perrier into the chilled glass over ice if desired, tilting the glass and pouring slowly down the side to preserve carbonation and reduce foaming. If serving directly from the bottle, simply sip from the bottle.

Garnish & serve

5

Add garnish (optional)

If using, squeeze a lemon or lime wedge lightly over the top to add a subtle citrus aroma, then drop the wedge into the glass. Optionally slap a mint sprig between your palms to release aroma and tuck it into the glass for a fresh herbal note.

6

Final presentation

Serve immediately while cold and effervescent. If using a bottle, present with the optional garnish on the rim or on a small plate alongside. Consume within a day of opening for best carbonation.
