Crust

Method

Crust

1

Prepare the crust

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a mixing bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Stir until all crumbs are evenly coated.

2

Form the crust

Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan to create an even layer. Bake for 10 minutes, then remove from the oven and let it cool while you prepare the filling.

Filling

3

Make the filling

In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy. Gradually add in the granulated sugar and continue mixing until well combined.

4

Add eggs and flavorings

Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Then, add the heavy cream, vanilla extract, and green tea powder. Mix until smooth and all ingredients are fully incorporated.

5

Combine and pour

Pour the filling over the prepared crust in the springform pan. Smooth the top with a spatula.

6

Bake the cheesecake

Bake in the preheated oven for 50-60 minutes, or until the edges are set but the center is still slightly jiggly. Turn off the oven and let the cheesecake cool inside for 1 hour.

7

Chill and serve

Remove the cheesecake from the oven and let it cool to room temperature. Once cooled, refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight, before serving. Slice and enjoy your green tea cheesecake!
