Overview

1

Plan

This recipe builds a 4-pack value meal: 4 cheeseburgers, 4 grilled chicken sandwiches, 4 crispy fish sandwiches, and 4 veggie wraps. Prepare proteins and fillings in batches to serve 4 of each item (total 16 sandwiches/wraps). Estimated total serves 16 sandwiches; packaging as a '4-pack' implies one of each per pack.

Prep work

2

Preheat oven to 200°F (95°C) to keep finished sandwiches warm. Rinse and pat dry all proteins and vegetables. Slice tomatoes and onions, wash lettuce leaves. Measure out condiments and set up a breading station: bowl with flour + cornstarch + 1 tsp seasoned salt, bowl with beaten eggs, bowl with panko mixed with 1 tsp paprika and 1/2 tsp black pepper.

3

For the veggie filling: heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the chopped mixed vegetables, 1/2 tsp salt, 1/4 tsp black pepper and 1/2 tsp garlic powder. Cook until softened, about 6–8 minutes. Stir in the cooked rice, adjust seasoning to taste. Remove from heat and set aside to cool slightly.

Cheeseburgers (4)

4

Season the 4 beef patties with 1 tsp salt and 1/2 tsp black pepper. Heat a large skillet or griddle over medium-high heat and add 1 tablespoon olive oil. Cook patties 3–4 minutes per side for medium doneness, or until internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C). During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar on each patty to melt.

5

Toast 4 burger buns cut-side down on the skillet for about 30–60 seconds until lightly browned. Assemble each cheeseburger: bottom bun, cooked patty with melted cheddar, 1 lettuce leaf, 2 tomato slices, 3 pickle slices, a teaspoon of ketchup and mustard to taste, then top bun.

6

Place finished cheeseburgers in the warmed oven to keep warm while you assemble other sandwiches.

Grilled Chicken Sandwiches (4)

7

Season the pounded chicken breasts on both sides with 1 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp black pepper and 1/2 tsp garlic powder. Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook chicken breasts 4–6 minutes per side until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and juices run clear. Optionally brush with a little mayonnaise-ketchup mix for glaze in the last minute.

8

Toast the sandwich buns for chicken on the skillet 30–45 seconds cut-side down. Assemble: bottom bun, mayonnaise (about 1 tablespoon), cooked chicken breast, 1 lettuce leaf, 1 slice tomato, red onion slices to taste, top bun. Keep warm in the oven.

Crispy Fish Sandwiches (4)

9

Pat fish fillets dry and season lightly with 1/2 tsp salt and 1/4 tsp black pepper. Dredge each fillet first in the flour/cornstarch mixture, then dip into beaten eggs, then press into panko mixture to coat evenly.

10

Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Fry breaded fillets 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through (internal temp 145°F/63°C). Alternatively bake at 425°F (220°C) for 12–15 minutes, turning once, until crisp.

11

Toast fish sandwich buns. Assemble each fish sandwich: bottom bun, tartar sauce (about 1 tablespoon), crispy fish fillet, lettuce leaf, 2–3 pickle slices, top bun. Keep warm in oven.

Veggie Wraps (4)

12

Warm the tortillas briefly in a dry skillet or microwave (10–15 seconds) to make them pliable. Lay each tortilla flat, spread about 2 tablespoons mayonnaise (or a sauce of choice) in the center, then divide the cooked veggie-and-rice mixture into 4 equal portions and place in the center of each tortilla. Top with 2 lettuce leaves and a few slices of tomato and onion if desired.

13

Fold bottom edge up over filling, fold sides in, and roll tightly to form a wrap. Cut each wrap in half on a diagonal if serving immediately. Keep warm with other sandwiches or serve at room temperature.

Finishing & packing

14

Check seasoning on all components and add extra salt, pepper, or condiments to taste. For a '4 PACK' bundle, place one cheeseburger, one grilled chicken sandwich, one crispy fish sandwich, and one veggie wrap into a single meal pack. Repeat to make additional packs as desired.

15

Estimated holding: keep sandwiches at 140°F (60°C) or above for hot-holding. Consume fish and chicken promptly for best quality.
