Chocolate Espresso Martini
Salted Caramel Bourbon Smash
Strawberry Champagne Royale
Method
Chocolate Espresso Martini
Pull a fresh shot of espresso and let it cool slightly (or use chilled strong cold-brew concentrate). Measure 1 oz.
Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice (about 6 pieces).
Add vodka (2 oz), coffee liqueur (1 oz), espresso (1 oz), chocolate liqueur (0.5 oz), and simple syrup (0.25 oz) to the shaker.
Dry-shake (shake without ice) vigorously for 8–10 seconds to build foam, then add ice and shake hard for another 12–15 seconds to chill and dilute.
Discard ice or water from the chilled glass. Double-strain the cocktail into the chilled glass through a fine mesh sieve to remove ice shards and any espresso grounds, producing a silky foam on top.
Garnish with 3 coffee beans placed on the foam. Serve immediately.
Salted Caramel Bourbon Smash
Prepare the glass: lightly wet the rim of a rocks glass with a lemon wedge, then dip the rim into coarse sea salt (about 1/4 tsp) to create a salted rim. Fill the glass with fresh ice cubes and set aside.
In a cocktail shaker or mixing glass, add fresh mint leaves (6 pieces) and salted caramel syrup (0.75 oz). Gently muddle the mint and syrup 6–8 times—just to release the mint oils; avoid shredding the leaves.
Add bourbon (2 oz), fresh lemon juice (0.5 oz), and ice (about 6 pieces) to the shaker.
Shake vigorously for 10–12 seconds until well chilled and slightly diluted.
Strain the mixture into the prepared rocks glass over fresh ice. Top with club soda (1 oz) and give a gentle stir to integrate.
Strawberry Champagne Royale
Add strawberry puree (0.5 oz) and strawberry liqueur (0.5 oz) to the bottom of the chilled champagne flute.
Slowly top with chilled champagne or dry sparkling wine (about 4 oz) poured down the side of the glass to preserve carbonation.
Give a gentle stir with a bar spoon once to combine the puree with the sparkling wine without flattening it.
Garnish the rim with a fresh strawberry slice. Serve immediately while bubbles are lively.
