Method
Cocktail
Prepare glass
Select a rocks glass. Add 2β3 large ice cubes to chill the glass while you build the cocktail.
Measure ingredients
Measure 2 oz Jameson Irish Whiskey, 2 oz cold brew coffee, 0.75 oz Orphan Girl ginger liqueur, 0.25 oz simple syrup (optional), and 0.25 oz fresh lemon juice.
Build and stir
Discard the chilling ice from the glass. Add fresh large ice cubes to the glass. Pour the Jameson and cold brew into a mixing glass or shaker filled with ice, then add the Orphan Girl ginger liqueur, simple syrup (if using), lemon juice, and 2 dashes Angostura bitters. Stir gently for 20β30 seconds until well chilled and slightly diluted.
Strain and serve
Strain the mixture over the prepared rocks glass with fresh ice. If you prefer a slightly stronger coffee presence, pour directly over the ice without stirring; if you prefer a smoother integrated flavor, use the stirred-and-strained method.
Optional adjustments: Increase or decrease simple syrup to adjust sweetness; add a third dash of bitters for extra aromatic depth; substitute 0.75 oz ginger syrup + 0.25 oz dry ginger liqueur if Orphan Girl is unavailable.
