Shrimp Preparation

1

Boil the Shrimp

In a large pot, bring 4 cups of water to a boil. Squeeze the juice of the lemon halves into the water and add the lemon halves and the Old Bay seasoning.

2

Cook the Shrimp

Once the water is boiling, add the shrimp. Cook for 2-3 minutes or until the shrimp turn pink and opaque. Be careful not to overcook them.

3

Chill the Shrimp

Remove the shrimp from the pot and place them in a bowl of ice water to stop the cooking process. Let them chill for about 5-10 minutes, then drain and pat dry.

Napa Slaw Preparation

4

Mix the Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded Napa cabbage, shredded carrot, and chopped green onions.

5

Prepare the Dressing

In a separate small bowl, whisk together the rice vinegar, olive oil, sugar, salt, and black pepper until well combined.

6

Toss the Slaw

Pour the dressing over the cabbage mixture and toss until everything is evenly coated. Set aside to let the flavors meld.

Cocktail Sauce Preparation

7

Combine Sauce Ingredients

In a small bowl, mix together the ketchup, horseradish, lemon juice, and Worcestershire sauce until well blended.

Assembly

8

Plate the Dish

On a serving platter, arrange the chilled shrimp. Serve alongside the Napa slaw, a small bowl of cocktail sauce, and garnish with pimento stuffed olives and lemon wedges.
