Method

Prepare the Brownie Batter

1

Melt the Butter

In a medium saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over low heat. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.

2

Mix Sugars

In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar. Whisk until smooth.

3

Add Eggs and Vanilla

Add the eggs one at a time to the sugar mixture, whisking well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.

4

Combine Dry Ingredients

In another bowl, sift together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt.

5

Combine Mixtures

Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the butter and sugar mixture until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.

6

Add Beer and Chocolate Chips

Stir in the chocolate porter beer, semi-sweet chocolate chips, and chopped pecans until evenly distributed.

Bake the Brownies

7

Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

8

Prepare the Skillet

Grease a 10-inch cast iron skillet with butter or non-stick spray.

9

Pour Batter into Skillet

Pour the brownie batter into the prepared skillet, spreading it evenly.

10

Bake

Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.

11

Cool the Brownies

Remove the skillet from the oven and let the brownies cool for at least 10 minutes before serving.

Assemble and Serve

12

Drizzle Sauces

While the brownies are still warm, drizzle the caramel sauce and chocolate fudge sauce over the top.

13
