Enjoy a creamy and refreshing regular-sized strawberry shake made with ripe strawberries and smooth vanilla ice cream.

Lightly roasted, mahogany-colored, medium-bodied malt with a sweet, salted-caramel flavor.

In a large mash tun, heat the 5 gallons of water to approximately 165°F (74°C). Add the Pale Malt, Caramel Malt, Chocolate Malt, and Roasted Barley to the heated water.

Step 1: Prepare the Mash

Stir the mixture well and let it sit for 60 minutes, maintaining a temperature of around 150°F (65°C).

Step 2: Mash

After mashing, sparge the grains with additional hot water to collect around 6 gallons of wort.

Step 3: Sparge

Bring the collected wort to a boil. Once boiling, add the Bittering Hops and boil for 60 minutes.

Step 4: Boil the Wort

In the last 10 minutes of the boil, add the Aroma Hops to the wort.

Step 5: Add Aroma Hops

After boiling, cool the wort quickly using a wort chiller to around 70°F (21°C).

Step 6: Cool the Wort

Transfer the cooled wort to a sanitized fermenter and pitch the Ale Yeast.

Step 7: Transfer to Fermenter

Seal the fermenter and let it ferment at room temperature for about 1-2 weeks, or until fermentation has completed.

Step 8: Primary Fermentation

Once fermentation is complete, gently mix in the Salted Caramel Sauce, Brown Sugar, and Vanilla Extract into the beer.

Step 9: Add Flavoring

Bottle the beer using sanitized bottles and caps, and let it carbonate for 1-2 weeks at room temperature.

Step 10: Bottling

Chill the bottles in the refrigerator and enjoy your homemade Salted Caramel Porter!
