Baking Instructions

1

Prepare the Oven

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9-inch round cake pan.

2

Blend the Tofu

In a blender or food processor, blend the silken tofu until smooth. Add in the sugar, vegetable oil, vanilla extract, and almond milk. Blend until well combined.

3

Mix Dry Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, sift together the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.

4

Combine Mixtures

Pour the tofu mixture into the bowl with the dry ingredients. Stir gently until just combined. Do not overmix.

5

Pour Batter

Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top with a spatula.

6

Bake

Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

7

Cool and Serve

Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing and serving.
