Method

Cocktail base

1

Mix spirits

Chill a mixing glass or cocktail shaker by filling it with ice briefly, then discard the melt. Add Grey Goose Le Poire vodka (2 oz), St. George Spiced Pear liqueur (0.5 oz) and St-Germain elderflower liqueur (0.5 oz) into the mixing glass.

2

Stir & chill

Fill the mixing glass with fresh ice (about 1 cup). Stir gently but thoroughly for 20–30 seconds until the mixture is well chilled and slightly diluted (should register near 0–5°C if using a thermometer).

Assemble & top

3

Strain

Double-strain the chilled spirit mixture into a chilled champagne flute or coupe (to remove any small ice shards). Leave room at the top for the Prosecco (about 3/4 full after spirits).

4

Add Prosecco

Gently top with chilled Prosecco (3 oz). Pour slowly down the side of the glass to preserve effervescence and create a gentle layered lift between the spirit base and bubbles.

Garnish & serve

5

Finish with aromatics

Express a lemon peel over the surface of the drink by holding the peel skin-side down about 3 inches above the glass and giving it a quick twist so the oils spray onto the drink. Rub the peel lightly on the rim (optional) and drop it into the flute.

6

Garnish

Float 1–2 thin pear slices on top or rest them on the side of the flute. Optionally tuck a small thyme sprig beside the pear for an herbal accent.

7

Serve immediately while the Prosecco is lively. Recommend pairing with light hors d'oeuvres or as a celebratory aperitif.
