Cocktail
Optional (for pitcher / party batch)
Method
Cocktail
Prepare glass
Chill a highball or coupe glass in the freezer for 5–10 minutes, or fill with ice while you prepare the cocktail and discard before pouring.
Shake base ingredients
In a cocktail shaker, add peach vodka (2 oz), white rum (0.5 oz), peach schnapps (0.5 oz), fresh lemon juice (0.75 oz), simple syrup (0.5 oz), peach purée (1 oz), orange juice (1 oz), and 3–4 large ice cubes. Add 2 dashes of Angostura bitters. Secure the shaker and shake vigorously for 12–15 seconds until chilled and slightly frothy from the purée.
Strain
Double-strain the shaken mixture into the chilled glass over fresh ice (use a fine mesh strainer in addition to the shaker strainer to remove peach solids for a smooth texture).
Top and finish
Top the cocktail with ginger beer (about 2 oz) gently to preserve fizz. Give the drink one gentle stir (one full turn) to combine the ginger beer with the base without flattening it.
Garnish and serve
Garnish with a thin peach slice on the rim and a sprig of fresh mint tucked into the ice. Optionally express a lemon peel over the drink for extra brightness. Serve immediately.
Optional (for pitcher / party batch)
Combine batch ingredients
In a 1.5–2 quart pitcher, combine peach vodka, white rum, peach schnapps, fresh lemon juice, simple syrup, peach purée, and orange juice. Stir thoroughly until the purée and syrup are fully incorporated.
Chill
Cover and chill the pitcher for at least 30 minutes to let flavors marry.
Serve
When ready to serve, fill glasses with ice, pour the chilled cocktail base into each glass (about 6–8 oz per glass), top with ginger beer (about 2 oz per serving), add 1–2 dashes of Angostura bitters to each glass, stir gently, and garnish with peach slices and mint sprigs.
