Wagyu Beef

Method

Preparation

1

Seasoning the Steak

Take the Wagyu beef steak out of the refrigerator and let it rest at room temperature for about 30 minutes. Pat it dry with paper towels. Season both sides generously with salt and black pepper.

2

Grilling the Steak

Preheat your grill to high heat (about 450-500°F). Brush the grill grates with olive oil to prevent sticking. Place the seasoned Wagyu steak on the grill. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until it reaches your desired doneness.

3

Cooking in Wood-Burning Oven

If using a wood-burning oven, preheat it until it reaches around 700°F. Place the steak inside the oven, and cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until it reaches your desired doneness.

4

Resting and Serving

Once cooked, remove the steak from the grill or oven and allow it to rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing. This helps retain the juices. Serve sliced with your choice of sides.
