This Chardonnay has aromas of pineapple, pears, and vanilla. Well balanced, it has a rich, full mouthfeel with flavors of pear, apple, and citrus, leading into a long finish of toasted almond and ginger flavors.

Place the bottle of Domino Chardonnay in the refrigerator for 2–3 hours before serving to reach an ideal serving temperature of about 50–55°F (10–13°C). If short on time, submerge the bottle in an ice-water bath for 20–30 minutes.

Chill the wine

Select clean white wine glasses or tulip-shaped glasses. Rinse them quickly with cold water and air-dry, or chill them briefly in the refrigerator for 10–15 minutes if you prefer colder glassware.

Prepare glassware

Use a waiter-style corkscrew or wing corkscrew to remove the cork cleanly: cut the foil just below the top lip, remove the foil, center the screw in the cork and twist until only one turn of the worm remains, then gently extract the cork. Wipe the bottle neck with a clean napkin or cloth.

Open the bottle

Pour about 4–6 ounces (120–180 ml) per glass, filling to the widest part of the bowl to allow the wine to breathe. Swirl gently and smell to appreciate the aromas of pineapple, pear, and vanilla. Note the balance and the richness in mouthfeel.

Take a small sip and let the wine coat your palate to experience flavors of pear, apple, and citrus, and observe the long finish with toasted almond and ginger notes. If the wine tastes slightly closed, let the open bottle sit for 10–20 minutes to open up further, then re-taste.

Serve alongside lightly roasted almonds, fresh pear slices, or a mild soft cheese such as Brie to complement the wine's toasted almond and fruity flavors. For a warm pairing, roast almonds in a 350°F (175°C) oven for 8–10 minutes until golden and allow to cool before serving.

Recork the bottle or use a wine stopper and refrigerate upright. Consume within 3–5 days for best flavor. If you prefer the almonds warm, re-roast briefly before serving again.
