Refrigerate the bottle of 90+ Cellars Sauvignon Blanc for at least 2 hours before serving. Ideal serving temperature is 45–50°F (7–10°C). If short on time, place the bottle in an ice bucket filled with equal parts ice and water for 20–30 minutes.

Chill the bottle

Using a corkscrew or wine opener, remove the capsule and clean the bottle neck with a towel. Insert the corkscrew into the cork and gently pull the cork out, keeping the motion steady to avoid disturbing the wine.

Open the bottle

Hold the stem or base of the white wine glass and pour the Sauvignon Blanc gently into the glass, filling to about one-third full (about 5–6 ounces / 150–180 ml) to allow the aromas to concentrate.

Pour appropriately

Let the poured wine sit in the glass for 1–2 minutes to open up aromas of citrus, grapefruit and kiwi. Swirl gently if desired to release aromatics.

Allow wine to breathe briefly

Using a small paring knife or a vegetable peeler, cut a thin strip of lemon peel about 1/4-inch wide and 2–3 inches long. Twist it gently over the glass to release essential oils, then either drop it into the glass or hook it on the rim.

Prepare lemon twist

If using a kiwi slice, use a thin slice (about 1/8-inch thick). Slide it onto the rim of the glass or float it gently in the wine for a subtle complementary aroma and appearance. Use sparingly so the fruit doesn’t alter the wine’s balance.

Add kiwi slice

Serve immediately while the wine is at the ideal temperature. If the bottle warms during service, return it to the refrigerator or ice bucket between pours.

Serve chilled

Ensure glassware is clean and free of detergent residues or strong odors. Use a white wine or stemmed glass to concentrate the lively aromatics and preserve the racy acidity. If you used ice in the glass to chill, remove cubes before pouring and discard excess water to avoid dilution.
