Cocktail

2 oz Patrón Silver tequila3/4 oz Fresh lime juice1/2 oz Agave syrup (1:1 simple agave)1/2 oz Orange liqueur (optional, e.g., Cointreau)1 cup Ice (for shaking)

Garnish & Serve

1 piece Lime wheel or wedge1/2 tbs Coarse salt (optional for rim)1/2 cup Ice (for serving)

Method

Prepare Glass (optional)

Salt rim (optional)

If you prefer a salted rim, rub a lime wedge around the outer rim of a rocks or coupe glass, then dip the rim into a small plate of coarse salt until evenly coated. Set the glass aside.

Mix Cocktail

Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice (about 1 cup). Add 2 oz Patrón Silver tequila, 0.75 oz fresh lime juice, 0.5 oz agave syrup, and 0.5 oz orange liqueur if using.

Secure the shaker lid and shake vigorously for 10–15 seconds, until the shaker is cold and well chilled.

If serving 'up' (no ice in glass): double-strain the cocktail into the prepared chilled coupe or rocks glass. If serving on the rocks: fill the serving glass with fresh ice and strain the cocktail over the ice.

Finish

Garnish with a lime wheel or wedge on the rim or floated on top. Serve immediately.
