Directions

1

Prepare the Slaw

In a large bowl, combine the shredded cabbage, shredded carrots, sliced red bell pepper, and sliced green onions. Toss well to mix the vegetables.

2

Make the Spicy Peanut Miso Sauce

In a separate bowl, whisk together the peanut butter, white miso, soy sauce, sriracha, and lime juice until smooth. Adjust the seasoning with salt and pepper to taste.

3

Cook the Octopus

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season the octopus with salt and pepper. Once the oil is hot, add the octopus and sear for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.

4

Plate the Dish

On a plate, place a generous amount of slaw, top with the seared octopus, and drizzle with the spicy peanut miso sauce. Finish with a sprinkle of chili crisp on top.
