Cooking Instructions

1

Prepare the Bacon

Take the 500 grams of bacon and lay it out flat on a cutting board or a clean surface. Make sure the slices do not overlap.

2

Season the Bacon

Sprinkle 1 tsp of black pepper and 1 tsp of garlic powder evenly over the bacon slices. If you prefer a little more flavor, you can adjust the seasoning to your taste.

3

Preheat the Pan

In a large skillet, add 1 tablespoon of olive oil and heat it over medium heat. Allow the oil to get hot but not smoking.

4

Cook the Bacon

Once the oil is hot, carefully add the seasoned bacon slices into the skillet. Cook the bacon for about 5-7 minutes on each side or until it reaches your desired crispiness.

5

Add Maple Syrup

In the last minute of cooking, drizzle 2 tablespoons of maple syrup over the bacon. Let it caramelize slightly for about 1 minute while the bacon finishes cooking.

6

Drain Excess Fat

Once the bacon is done, remove it from the skillet and place it on a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess fat.

7

Serve

Serve the bacon hot as a delicious side dish or topping for your favorite meals.
