Produce & Fruit

Method

Prepare produce

1

Wash and peel

Thoroughly wash the carrots, apple, and pineapple. Peel the carrots. If using a whole pineapple, remove the peel and core, then chop into chunks. Core the apple and cut into quarters (peel optional).

2

Juice the lemon

Roll the lemon on the countertop with gentle pressure to loosen the juices, then cut in half and squeeze out the juice. Strain seeds if desired.

Blend

3

Combine ingredients

Place the peeled carrots, apple pieces, pineapple chunks, lemon juice, pinch of sea salt, and ice cubes into a high-speed blender. Add honey or maple syrup if you prefer a sweeter drink.

4

Add liquid for consistency

Pour in 1/2 cup of cold water or coconut water to start. You can add up to the remaining 1/2 cup later if the mixture is too thick for your blender or your desired consistency.

5

Blend until smooth

Secure the blender lid and blend on high for 45–90 seconds, or until the mixture is completely smooth and bright in color. Stop and scrape down the sides once if needed, then blend again.

6

Adjust and chill

Taste and add additional sweetener (up to 1 tbs more) or a splash more water if needed. If you prefer it colder, add a few more ice cubes and briefly pulse to crush them.

Serve & Finish

7

Pour the smoothie into chilled glasses. Garnish with a thin lemon wheel or a small pineapple wedge if desired. Stir in a little extra 'love' — serve immediately for best texture and flavor.
