Cold-Pressed Juice Base

Method
Cold-Pressed Juice Base
Juicer method (recommended)
Feed pear, cucumber, celery, and kale through a slow cold-press or masticating juicer in alternating order (pear → celery → cucumber → kale → repeat) to help extract maximum juice and keep texture even. Collect approximately 12–14 fl oz of juice. If juice is very thick, stir in up to 1/4 cup filtered water to reach desired consistency.
Blender + Strain method (if no juicer)
Place pear, cucumber, celery, kale, and 1/4 cup filtered water into a high-speed blender. Blend on high until completely smooth (30–60 seconds). Pour the puree through a fine-mesh sieve or nut milk bag into a bowl, pressing or squeezing to extract as much liquid as possible. Discard pulp or reserve for smoothies/compost.
Brightening & Seasoning
Add the fresh lemon juice, grated or finely minced fresh ginger (about 1/2 tsp), a pinch of sea salt, and the teaspoon of honey or agave (or literal 'love') to the extracted juice. Stir gently to combine and taste. Adjust brightness with an additional 1/2 tbs lemon juice if needed or sweetness with a little more honey/agave.
Optional Finish
If desired, chill by stirring in 1/2 cup ice or serve the juice over ice. Pour into a chilled glass, garnish with a microgreen or a small kale leaf for presentation. Serve immediately to enjoy peak freshness and nutrients.
