Method

Beef Marinade

1

Marinate the Beef

In a large mixing bowl, combine the olive oil, minced garlic, ground cumin, ground paprika, black pepper, salt, and lemon juice. Mix well.

2

Prepare the Beef

Cut the beef sirloin into 1-inch cubes and add them to the marinade. Stir to coat the beef evenly. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or overnight for best results.

Rice Preparation

3

Cook the Rice

In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the long-grain rice and toast it for about 2-3 minutes, stirring frequently.

4

Add Water and Salt

Pour in the water and add salt. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for about 15-20 minutes, or until the rice is tender and the water is absorbed.

Salad Preparation

5

Prepare the Salad

In a large bowl, combine the diced cucumber, diced tomato, thinly sliced red onion, and chopped parsley.

6

Dress the Salad

Drizzle the olive oil and lemon juice over the salad. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Toss gently to combine.

Grilling the Kebabs

7

Skewer the Beef

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Thread the marinated beef cubes onto skewers, leaving a little space between each piece.

8

Grill the Kebabs

Place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the beef is cooked to your desired doneness.

Serving

9

Plate the Dish

Serve the grilled beef kebabs alongside the rice and fresh salad. Enjoy your meal!
