Preparation

Cocktail

1. Prepare glass

Fill a highball or old-fashioned glass with ice to chill while you mix the drink. If you prefer, you can use a chilled coupe or rocks glass and omit extra ice in the glass.

2. Mix

In a cocktail shaker, add 2 oz Tito's vodka, 0.5 oz Bénédictine, 2 oz fresh orange juice, and 2 dashes of Angostura bitters. Fill the shaker with ice (about 3/4 full).

3. Shake

Shake vigorously for 10–15 seconds, until the shaker is cold to the touch and the ingredients are well combined and slightly frothy from the orange juice.

4. Strain & serve

Discard the ice from the chilled glass if you used it to chill. Strain the cocktail from the shaker into the prepared glass over fresh ice (if serving on the rocks) or neat into a chilled coupe.

5. Garnish

Float or place the orange slice on the rim or in the drink. Optionally add an extra dash of Angostura bitters on the surface for aroma.

6. Serve immediately. Enjoy responsibly.
