Red Pony Main Dish
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil for the pasta. Cook pasta until al dente, then drain and set aside.
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onion and sauté until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
Add minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
Add chicken pieces. Season with salt and pepper. Cook until the chicken is lightly browned and no longer pink, about 5-7 minutes.
Stir in crushed tomatoes, oregano, and Italian seasoning. Simmer for about 5 minutes to blend flavors.
Stir in heavy cream and grated Parmesan cheese. Simmer until the sauce thickens slightly and cheese melts, 2-3 minutes.
Toss the cooked pasta with the sauce until well coated. Adjust seasoning with additional salt and pepper if needed. If desired, sprinkle red pepper flakes for a subtle heat.
Serve the pasta with the sauce. Garnish with extra Parmesan if desired. Arrange apple slices on the side and pour milk to accompany the dish.
Fruit and Drink Service
Wash the apple and slice into wedges or rounds as preferred.
Pour 1 cup of milk into a serving cup. If orange juice is preferred, substitute with 1 cup orange juice.
