Strawberry Shake

Enjoy a creamy and refreshing regular-sized strawberry shake made with ripe strawberries and smooth vanilla ice cream.

Select ripe Merlot grapes from the vineyard, ensuring they are free from blemishes and rot.

Harvesting The Grapes

Crush the grapes to release the juice. This can be done by hand or using a wine press.

Transfer the crushed grapes and juice to a fermentation vessel. Add water, yeast, and sugar. Stir gently to combine and cover the vessel with a cloth to allow fermentation.

Fermentation

Allow the mixture to ferment for about 7-14 days, stirring daily. Once fermentation slows, it's time to press the wine.

Fermentation Duration

Press the fermented grape mixture to separate the liquid from the solids. Transfer the liquid to a clean fermentation vessel.

Pressing

If desired, add oak chips to the wine for flavor and aroma. Allow the wine to age for at least 6 months in a cool, dark place.

Aging

Once aged, filter the wine to remove any sediment, then bottle it in sterilized bottles. Seal the bottles and store them upright.
