Cooking Instructions

1

Prepare the Potatoes

Peel and chop the potatoes into cubes. Boil them in salted water until tender, about 15-20 minutes. Drain and return to the pot.

2

Mash the Potatoes

Add truffle oil and seasoning to the boiled potatoes. Mash until smooth and creamy. Set aside.

3

Prepare the Broccolini

Blanch the broccolini in boiling water for 2-3 minutes, then transfer to an ice bath. Drain and set aside.

4

Cook the Steak

Preheat a grill or grill pan over high heat. Season the NY strip steak with salt and black pepper. Grill for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness.

5

Make the Veal Reduction

In a saucepan over medium heat, reduce the veal stock by half until it thickens slightly. Season to taste.

6

Serve

Plate the truffled mashed potatoes, top with grilled NY strip steak, and arrange broccolini on the side. Drizzle with veal reduction and finish with a dollop of black truffle butter.
