Instructions

1

Prepare the Molten Cake

Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F). Grease four ramekins with butter and dust with flour.

2

Melt Chocolate and Butter

In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the dark chocolate and unsalted butter. Microwave in 30-second intervals until melted and smooth. Stir in the sugar until well combined.

3

Combine Ingredients

Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Gently fold in the flour and salt until just combined.

4

Bake the Cakes

Divide the batter evenly among the prepared ramekins. Bake for about 12-14 minutes, or until the edges are set but the center remains soft.

5

Make Port Syrup

While the cakes are baking, combine port wine and sugar in a small saucepan over medium heat. Simmer until reduced by half and syrupy, about 10 minutes.

6

Prepare Chantilly Cream

In a mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until soft peaks form.

7

Serve

Once the cakes are done, let them cool for a minute, then invert onto plates. Serve warm with port syrup, fresh berries, and a dollop of chantilly cream.
