Method

Fish Preparation

1

Fried Fish

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Season fish with lemon juice, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Fry each fillet for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden and cooked through.

2

Grilled Fish

Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Season fish with lemon juice, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Grill for 3-5 minutes on each side until the fish flakes easily with a fork.

Eggs Preparation

3

In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Crack eggs into the skillet and season with salt and pepper. Cook until whites are set and yolks are cooked to your liking (sunny side up, over-easy, etc.).

Toast Preparation

4

Toast bread slices in a toaster or on a skillet until golden brown.

Home Fries or Grits Preparation

5

Home Fries

Dice potatoes and steam until tender. Heat butter in a skillet, add potatoes, season with salt and pepper, and fry until crispy and golden.

6

Grits

In a saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a boil. Slowly stir in grits and reduce heat. Simmer for about 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thickened. Stir in butter, salt, and pepper before serving.
