Sparkling Mineral Water
Optional Garnishes & Additions
Method
Sparkling Mineral Water
Chill the San Pellegrino bottle well in the refrigerator for several hours before serving. For best fizz, do not shake. If you're serving immediately, place the bottle in an ice bucket for 20–30 minutes to bring it cold.
Open the bottle carefully at the table by removing the cap or popping the cork (if a special edition). Pour slowly into chilled glasses to preserve carbonation, pouring down the side of the glass.
Optional Garnishes & Additions
Simple Serve
Place 4–6 ice cubes into each serving glass (if using). Pour chilled San Pellegrino into the glass, leaving a small gap at the top so it doesn't overflow.
Mint Infusion
Lightly clap the mint leaves between your palms to release their aroma, then add them to the glass on top of the ice. Pour the San Pellegrino over the mint to lightly bruise the leaves and release flavor.
Sweeten (Optional)
If you prefer a slightly sweetened sparkling water, stir in the simple syrup (about 1 tsp) after pouring. Start with a small amount and adjust to taste.
Serve immediately while the water is cold and fizzy. Re-seal any remaining bottle and refrigerate upright; consume within a few days for best carbonation and flavor.
