Method

Prepare Ingredients

1

If using a fresh mango, peel, pit, and chop until you have approximately 1 1/2 cups of chopped mango. If using frozen mango, measure out the required amount and slightly thaw for 5–10 minutes so the blender can process it.

2

Measure almond milk, yogurt, honey or maple syrup, and lime juice. If you prefer the almond milk add-on, use almond milk as listed (the +$1.50 option).

Blend Smoothie

3

Combine and Pulse

Place the chopped fresh mango (or thawed frozen mango) and frozen mango chunks (if using) into the blender first to protect the blades, then add Greek yogurt, almond milk, honey or maple syrup, and fresh lime juice.

4

Blend to Smooth

Start the blender on low, then increase to high and blend for 45–60 seconds until completely smooth and creamy. If the mixture is too thick, add almond milk 1–2 tablespoons at a time until you reach the desired consistency. If too thin, add another 1/4 cup frozen mango or a few ice cubes and blend again.

5

Adjust Sweetness & Chill

Taste the smoothie and add more honey/maple syrup if needed (up to 1 additional teaspoon). If you want it colder, add a couple more ice cubes and blend until crushed.

Serve

6

Pour the smoothie into a 16- to 20-oz glass. Sprinkle toasted sliced almonds on top and garnish with a mango slice or lime wedge if desired.

7

Serve immediately with a straw.
