Cocktail

Method

Prepare Glass

1

Chill glass

Place a martini glass or coupe in the freezer for 5–10 minutes, or fill it with ice water while you assemble the cocktail to ensure the drink stays cold.

Mix Cocktail

2

Fill a cocktail shaker about two-thirds full with ice.

3

Add 2 oz New Amsterdam Pineapple Vodka, 0.75 oz PAMA Pomegranate Liqueur, 1.5 oz pineapple juice, 1 oz pomegranate juice, and 0.25 oz fresh lime juice to the shaker. If you prefer a sweeter cocktail, add 0.25 oz simple syrup.

4

Secure the shaker lid and shake vigorously for 12–15 seconds until the exterior of the shaker is well chilled and you see a good, frosty condensation. Vigorous shaking helps integrate the fruit juices with the liqueur and vodka for a silky texture.

5

Remove the chilled glass from the freezer or discard the ice water and dry the glass if used.

6

Double-strain the cocktail into the chilled martini glass using both the shaker strainer and a fine-mesh strainer to remove any ice shards and pulp for a smooth, clean presentation.

Garnish & Serve

7

Drop 1 tsp of pomegranate seeds into the center of the cocktail so they float attractively.

8

Skewer or perch a thin pineapple wedge on the rim of the glass and optionally add a lime twist for extra citrus aroma.

9

Serve immediately while cold. Suggest serving notes: this martini is bright, slightly sweet-tart, and tropical; adjust pomegranate liqueur or simple syrup to taste if you make a batch.
