Pickle Lemonade Mix

Garnish & Optional Add-ins

Method

Make the Pickle Lemonade Base

1

Combine juices

In a pitcher, pour 1 cup fresh lemon juice and 1/2 cup cold filtered pickle juice. Stir gently to combine.

2

Sweeten

Add 3/4 cup simple syrup to the lemon-pickle mixture. Stir until fully incorporated. Taste and adjust: if brighter lemon flavor is needed, add up to 2 tablespoons more lemon juice; if more savory/pickle tang is desired, add up to 1-2 tablespoons more pickle juice.

3

Dilute

Add 2 cups cold water to the pitcher and stir. This yields a balanced strength; for a lighter drink, substitute part of the water with up to 1 cup sparkling water when serving (see serving step).

4

Chill

Add 3 cups of ice to the pitcher or chill the mixture in the refrigerator until cold, about 15–20 minutes. If you plan to store, refrigerate covered for up to 48 hours; stir before serving because flavors may settle.

Assemble & Serve

5

Prepare four serving glasses: fill each glass 3/4 full with ice (roughly 3/4 cup ice per 8-oz serving).

6

Pour the chilled pickle lemonade into each glass, filling to about 3/4 full. If you prefer a fizzy mocktail, top each glass with a splash (about 2 tbsp to 1/4 cup) of sparkling water and gently stir once.

7

Garnish each glass with a lemon slice and a pickle slice on the rim, and tuck a small dill sprig into the drink for aroma. Serve immediately.

8

Optional: For a pitcher service, transfer chilled mixture to a large pitcher filled with ice and add sparkling water to taste (up to 1 cup). Add lemon slices, pickle slices, and dill sprigs to the pitcher for presentation.
