Cocktail

1

Prepare glass

Fill a highball or Collins glass with ice to chill it while you build the drink.

2

Combine base spirits and juices

In a cocktail shaker filled halfway with ice, add 1.5 oz orange vodka, 0.75 oz Malibu coconut rum, 0.5 oz peach schnapps, 0.5 oz fresh lemon juice, and 0.25 oz fresh lime juice.

3

Shake

Secure the shaker lid and shake vigorously for 8–10 seconds until the outside of the shaker feels cold (this chills and dilutes the mixture slightly).

4

Strain into glass

Discard the ice that was chilling the glass if desired and fill the glass with fresh ice. Strain the shaken mixture into the prepared glass over the fresh ice.

5

Add Blue Curaçao

Slowly pour 0.5 oz Blue Curaçao over the back of a spoon held just above the drink surface so the blue liqueur sinks slightly and creates a layered ocean effect.

6

Top with soda

Gently top the drink with 3 oz chilled club soda. Pour slowly to preserve some of the layering and to add effervescence.

7

Garnish and serve

Garnish with a lemon wheel or lime wedge on the rim. Serve with a straw and instruct the guest to stir before sipping if they prefer an even flavor.
