1

Prep

If using fresh lime juice, juice one lime to yield approximately 0.75–1 oz. Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice.

2

Combine

Add 2 oz vodka, 0.5 oz triple sec, 0.5 oz amaretto, 0.5 oz Midori, 0.75 oz fresh lime juice, and 0.5 oz simple syrup into the shaker over the ice.

3

Shake

Secure the shaker and shake vigorously for 12–15 seconds until the outside of the shaker is frosty and the mixture is well-chilled and slightly diluted.

4

Serve

Strain the cocktail into a chilled coupe or a rocks glass filled with fresh ice (depending on preference). If you prefer a more sour-forward profile, serve straight up in a coupe; for a longer, cooler drink serve over fresh ice.

5

Garnish

Garnish with a lime wheel on the rim or a maraschino cherry dropped into the drink. Optionally, run a lime wedge around the glass rim and dip in sugar for a sweet rim.

6

Taste and adjust: if you want it sweeter, add 0.25–0.5 oz more simple syrup or a splash of sour mix. If you want it brighter and more tart, add another 0.25 oz lime juice.
