Cocktail

1

Prepare glass

Fill a highball or Collins glass with ice (about 1 cup). If you prefer a chilled glass, place the glass in the freezer for 5 minutes before building.

2

Mix base

In a cocktail shaker, add 2 oz vodka (or tequila if you prefer a slightly bolder flavor), 4 oz of your chosen juice (pineapple juice for Pineapple variation or peach nectar for Peach variation), 0.5 oz fresh lime juice, and 0.25 oz simple syrup.

3

Shake

Add a handful of ice to the shaker, secure the lid, and shake vigorously for 10-12 seconds to chill and slightly dilute the drink.

4

Strain and top

Strain the mixture into the prepared ice-filled glass. Top gently with 1 oz club soda if you want a lighter, slightly effervescent finish; otherwise leave it uncut for a fuller fruit-forward taste.

5

Garnish and serve

Garnish with a pineapple wedge for the Pineapple variation or a fresh peach slice for the Peach variation. Add a mint sprig if desired. Serve with a straw.
