Cocktail

Method

Preparation

1

Chill glass

Place a coupe or martini glass in the freezer for at least 5 minutes to chill while you prepare the cocktail.

2

Prepare grapes

If using frozen grapes, thread 3–4 onto a small cocktail pick to use as garnish. Keep remaining grapes chilled.

Mixing

3

Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice (about 1 cup). Add 1.5 oz Havel Crush dark vodka, 1 oz crème vodka, 0.5 oz De Kuyper peach schnapps, 0.5 oz Chambord, 0.25 oz cocoa liqueur, 1 oz cream, 0.5 oz sweet cream schnapps, 0.25 oz fresh lemon juice, and 0.25 oz simple syrup.

4

Dry-shake (without ice) for 5–7 seconds if you prefer a slightly frothier texture from the cream, then add ice and shake vigorously for 12–15 seconds until the outside of the shaker is very cold (or just shake with ice for 15–20 seconds if skipping the dry shake).

5

Double-strain the mixture through a fine mesh strainer into the chilled coupe or martini glass to remove small ice chips and any solids for a silky texture.

Finish & Serve

6

Garnish the drink by resting the grape skewer across the rim or dropping 2–3 grapes into the glass. Lightly grate a pinch (about 1 tsp) of dark chocolate over the surface or dust with cocoa powder.

7

Serve immediately. Recommended serving size: one cocktail per preparation.
