Bend, OR Refreshing Juicy Tropical Hops, Soft Bitterness | 6.4% ABV

Heat water to 67°C (153°F) and add pale malt and crystal malt. Hold the temperature for 60 minutes to convert the starches into sugars.

Mashing

After mashing, separate the liquid wort from the grains by lautering. Collect the wort in the brew kettle.

Lautering

Bring the wort to a boil and add Citra hops. Boil for 60 minutes, adding Simcoe hops at 15 minutes left, and Amarillo hops at 5 minutes left.

Boiling

Cool the wort quickly using a wort chiller to around 20°C (68°F).

Cooling

Transfer the cooled wort to a sanitized fermenter and pitch the yeast. Seal and allow to ferment for about 1-2 weeks at around 20°C (68°F).

Fermentation

Once fermentation is complete, dissolve priming sugar in a small amount of water, add to beer, and bottle the beer. Allow bottles to carbonate for 1-2 weeks.
