Mocktail Base

Method

Prepare and Mix

  1. 1

    Measure and combine

Add 3 oz Free Spirits Aperitivo, 0.75 oz fresh lemon juice, 0.5 oz maple syrup and 1 oz pomegranate juice to a cocktail shaker or mixing glass.

  2. 2

    Sweetness balance

Taste the mixture (without ice) and adjust sweetness if needed: add an extra 0.25 oz maple syrup for more sweetness or 0.25 oz extra lemon juice if you prefer brighter acidity.

  3. 3

    Chill

Fill the shaker with ice, cap, and shake vigorously for 10–15 seconds until well chilled and slightly diluted.

Build & Serve

  1. 4

    Prepare glass

Fill a Collins or highball glass with fresh ice (large cubes or crushed, depending on preference). If you like, run a lemon wheel around the rim before adding ice for extra aroma.

  2. 5

    Strain and top

Double-strain (or fine-strain) the shaken mixture into the prepared glass over ice to remove any pulp or small ice shards. Top with 2 oz cold club soda or sparkling water and stir gently once to integrate.

  3. 6

    Garnish

Drop 1 tablespoon of pomegranate seeds into the drink and finish with a lemon wheel or twist on the rim.

  4. 7

    Serve

Serve immediately with a straw or stirring spoon. Encourage the guest to give it a gentle stir before drinking to redistribute the soda and pomegranate flavor.
