Cooking Instructions

1

Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to high heat, about 450°F (232°C). If using charcoal, ensure the coals are hot and glowing.

2

Prepare the Steak

Remove the porterhouse steak from the refrigerator and let it come to room temperature for about 30 minutes. Pat dry with paper towels.

3

Season the Steak

Rub both sides of the steak with olive oil and season generously with kosher salt and black pepper. Add fresh rosemary on top.

4

Grill the Steak

Place the porterhouse steak on the hot grill. Grill for about 4-5 minutes on one side until a nice crust forms. Flip the steak and grill for another 4-5 minutes for medium-rare, or adjust time as needed for desired doneness.

5

Baste with Butter

In the last few minutes of grilling, melt butter in a small pan and add the remaining rosemary. Baste the steak with the butter mixture for added flavor.

6

Rest the Steak

Remove the steak from the grill and let it rest for about 10 minutes before slicing. This allows the juices to redistribute.

7

Serve

Slice the porterhouse steak and serve it immediately. Enjoy with your favorite sides.
