Muddle Ingredients
In an old-fashioned glass, muddle the sugar cube with the bitters and water until the sugar is dissolved.

Add Bourbon
Add the bourbon to the glass and stir gently to combine.

Add Ice
Fill the glass with large ice cubes, and stir again to chill the drink.

Garnish
Express the oils from the orange peel over the drink and drop it in as a garnish. Add the maraschino cherry on top.
